A crowded church requires a careful count
Of sitting spaces, fundamental sizes.
The bottom line cannot accept surprises;
Gluteal accuracy is paramount.

Our leaders know we’re sternly challenged, but
They take a kind of census, and they find
Our problems are essentially behind.
The plans in hand entail no further cut.

“Three of him and three of me” is the way
We’ll ration pew seats for the inventory,
Reasoning strictly a posteriori,
With cheek to cheek a friendly interplay.

The Love Feast calls for buns in distribution,
Six in hand and twelve upon the cushion.
